The Translation Link, LLC has been certified by the State of Florida as a Woman Business Enterprise and as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

Having earned certification in 2009 for the first time, The Translation Link, LLC has been approved for recertification for two more years to 2014 by the Office of Supplier Diversity - State of Florida.  Certification officers are responsible for identifying and certifying business enterprises by conducting thorough and effective eligibility reviews. Eligibility criteria can be found in Chapter 287, Florida Statutes, Chapter 295.187, Florida Statues and Chapter 60A-9, Florida Administrative Code.

The company underwent a rigorous review. TTL is the only professional translation company certified in Manatee County; it is one of 37 certified women owned in the Manatee/Sarasota area, and one in 18 as Hispanic owned business.

Doing business with a Certified Woman and Minority Business Enterprise will benefit government agencies and corporations which have diversity programs in place. “Having a Diversity program implies that these institutions have established that certain purchasing goals – a percentage of their purchasing budget – has go to women/minority owned businesses.”* By allocating and effectively using the purchasing budget to buy products and services from an MBE certified business, these agencies and corporations receive several incentives provided by the federal and state government.
